The Jakson Group has launched a battery power storage system for residential purposes. It includes a 3 kW hybrid inverter and a 4.8 kWh, 48V lithium-ion battery module managed by a battery administration system.
The cathode materials of the battery module is lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4). The whole 4.8 kWh BESS weighs about 80 kg. The battery module weighs about 40 kg.
Jakson acknowledged that the power storage system might be adjusted as much as the megawatt scale, relying on the facility backup necessities.
