Adani Inexperienced Power Ltd (AGEL), the renewable power arm of Indian conglomerate Adani Group, has introduced its 700 MW hybrid wind photo voltaic venture in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan is totally operational.

The hybrid plant is owned by AGEL’s subsidiary Adani Hybrid Power Jaisalmer 4 Ltd. and sells electrical energy below a 25-year energy buy settlement (PPA) at INR 3.24 ($0.039)/kWh.

Together with this new facility, AGEL’s working hybrid wind photo voltaic plant portfolio reaches 2,140 MW – the biggest on this planet. The corporate’s whole working renewable power venture portfolio stands at 8,024 MW – the biggest in India.

The venture’s photovoltaic unit depends on bifacial modules and a horizontal single-axis tracker. It has a capability utilization issue (CUF) of over 50%, the best for any renewable venture in India, AGEL stated.

AGEL commissioned its first hybrid wind photo voltaic plant with a capability of 390 MW in Could 2022, adopted by a 600 MW plant in September and a 450 MW facility in December. These three hybrid power era property are all situated in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
