SECI has began accepting bids to provide 1 GWp of photo voltaic PV modules that includes India-made photo voltaic cells and modules.

Photo voltaic panels should come from producers listed within the ALMM checklist printed by the Ministry of New and Renewable Power (MNRE).

The entire capability of PV modules is split into two tranches of 500 MWp every. Producers can bid for a package deal of 500 MWp, or the total capability of 1 GWp.

Bidders should solely provide one kind of PV module (monocrystalline/thin-film) with the identical dimensions, in keeping with MR.
